About Camp Giggle Stitch
Camp Giggle Stitch is a unique summer camp for kids located near Oro Valley, Marana, and Tucson. Your child will learn the art of sewing using modern tools in our fully equipped sewing studio to create fun, functional, and wearable works of art. Everything your camper needs—including a Camp Giggle Stitch T-shirt—is included in the camp fee.
Come for a week, or stay for the summer! With a maximum 8:1 student-to-instructor ratio, each camper receives plenty of individual attention and is sure to learn new skills while having fun.

Registration details:
Enrollment is limited to 8 students per session, and spots are expected to fill quickly. Payment is due at the time of registration, and your child’s place is not secure until payment is received. Early registration is strongly encouraged.
Important: All camp fees are non-refundable. Please choose your camp sessions carefully.

Does my child need experience to join the camps?
No! Our camps are designed for learning and, of course, having fun. All projects are created with beginners in mind, and we can adjust difficulty up or down to accommodate both brand-new students and returning Camp Giggle Stitch campers.
What will we do at camp?
We’ll cut, sew, and create! Campers might make skirts, shorts, pillows, stuffed animals, bags, and more. We teach the basics and build on those skills as the week goes on. Along the way, we’ll play games and enjoy plenty of good old-fashioned fun.
How much time is dedicated to sewing?
Most of our camp day (9 a.m.–2 p.m.) is spent sewing and creating. Campers will cut fabric, choose materials, read patterns, and work at their machines. Of course, we also take breaks for snacks and lunch, admire each other’s progress, and sometimes play games or watch a short movie.
Will my child have to share a sewing machine?
No. Our camps are intentionally small, so each camper gets their own work station, complete with a sewing machine and all the tools they need. We do share classroom space and some general supplies, but every camper has their own dedicated workspace.
Will my child get to select their own fabrics?
Not entirely. While it would be amazing for every camper to pick freely, we carefully select fabrics that are current and popular. Some smaller projects may offer a few fabric choices, so campers still get some creative input.
Can my child attend more than one camp?
Absolutely! Our camps are designed to encourage students to return, learn new skills, and improve on previously learned ones. We also offer one or two extra projects each week at no extra charge, in case a camper finishes early. We always emphasize quality over quantity when completing projects.
What size camp shirts are available and how much do they cost?
Camp shirts are included in the camp cost. Sizes are selected when your child arrives, and we do our best to accommodate their preferences.
Who is the sewing teacher?
Miss Eileen created Camp Giggle Stitch and teaches all classes, workshops, lessons, and camps herself.
